Welcome to our little slice of paradise at Orchard House, and thank you for considering a stay in our beautiful shepherd's hut! I'm Jason, and I'm genuinely thrilled to share our corner of East Anglia with you.
My journey to becoming your host has been a diverse and exciting one. With a background steeped in Travel & Tourism studies and years of experience in customer-focused businesses, I've always been passionate about creating wonderful experiences for people. This, combined with my love for travelling the world, has given me a deep appreciation for unique getaways and the importance of truly special hospitality.
While I've seen many incredible places, I truly love living here in Bungay and exploring the stunning landscapes of Norfolk and Suffolk. It's not just a beautiful place; it's also a fun place to live and visit, with genuinely friendly neighbours who make it feel like home. There's a magic to this area that we've truly embraced, and I can't wait for you to discover it too.
At home, our life is full of joy with my wonderful wife, Caroline, our amazing daughter, Izzy, and our two mischievous dachshunds, Lucy and Kai. We pour our hearts into our lovely house and, of course, our stunning shepherd's hut, nestled in our large, peaceful garden.
Our vision for the hut is simple: to offer the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing holiday. It's a tranquil retreat in a truly serene neighbourhood, designed for unwinding and escaping the everyday bustle. We love having visitors and are incredibly excited to share this special space with you.
With so many different activities right on our doorstep – from historical sites and charming local shops, to diverse outdoor activities, a vibrant arts scene, insights into a local military history, and an array of bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pubs, vineyards and breweries – there's something for everyone to enjoy at their own pace.
